Palam Vihar is one of the few localities that remain peaceful and unpolluted in Gurgaon. Developed by Ansals, it has wide roads, an excellent road network, a shopping mall, Ansal Plaza, Carnival Cinemas two good hospitals (Metro and Columbia Asia), a good shopping Centre Palam Vyapar Kendra and several restaurants and schools. It is own water supply, sewage and maintenance facilities, it is better that most HUDA colonies. Since there are very few condominiums, the population density is less and the air is relatively less polluted. The road traffic is also much less that other parts of new Gurgaon. Being the original Sector 1, 2 and 3 of Gurgaon, it is next to the Delhi border and has good connectivity to Delhi, via Bijwasan (I visited the locality)
